Went for a 3 night weekend with my girlfriends last Jan 30, 31, and Feb 1, 2010. Booked a classic suite for a really good rate. Truthfully, I was very anxious of what it will be like at the Rio considering that I normally stay at the Wynn with my husband. Had a suite at the Ipanema Tower and OMG!!!--It was absolutely awesome! The room was super clean, beautifully furnished, bathroom was nice and clean with an extra vanity outside of the BR. My girlfriends and I were totally blown away by the size of the suite!! Had a mini party in the room. Starbucks on the casino floor is great-- since I drink alot of coffee. The staff at the hotel were soooooo nice and professional. The food at the World Carnival Buffet was very tasty and lots to choose from-- Italian, Mexican, American, Chinese, Japanese, too much to list!! I cannot wait to go back. Even won $3900 at a penny machine which was icing on the cake!! Cannot wait to go back in the summer. Totally worth it!! We took taxis everywhere which is cheap.....J. Barney from Pittsburgh, PA

The check in line was a little long but moved along ok. The Manager was great! The accomodations were a little dated as far as decor, but clean. We got upgraded to a suite on the 28th floor for only $*! The room was huge! All the staff we had encounters with were pleasant.

The Rio is a great stay. They offer a wide variety of comfort that will suit anybody needs. Located minutes from the Strip and micro-seconds from the PALMS hotel, the Rio is a Party inside itself. Don’t be fooled by the pictures until you witness it for yourself. The view is Amazing! My room was hefty, spotless, and at ease (1531). Will and must stay again! Good Luck!
