I deliberately chose Circus Circus because I was traveling with children. I reserved 2 rooms, nonsmoking. I was put in 2 rooms, not joined, smelly, with ash trays outside on the floor (it was 12 th floor). The first clerk ( a woman) very unfriendly and not helpful at all. The second clerk finally changed my rooms to the 19 th floor and it was much better. Las Vegas this summer is very hot and rude people all over. I will not stay in Circus Circus again.

This is definitely the worst hotel on the strip I have stayed in. I only stayed here because I had a minor with me, my sister who is 15. I would stay elsewhere again and visit the Adventuredome for sure to ride the rides, but other than the rides, there is no draw to this hotel. The Skyrise tower is scorching hot in the hallways, the candy in the vending machines was melted and the elevators were not air conditioned at all. The AC in the room was so loud, I should have brought ear plugs to sleep with, but on a positive note, the pillows were fabulous. Our sink was clogged, there were not hand towels in our room on arrival and it took 45 minutes to wait in line to check in, thank goodness I had a book with me. Many of the arcade games were out of order that we wanted to play, the casino is full of smoke and the fitness room is unimpressive and very small. If you can afford to stay elsewhere, do so. If you are so tight on cash then sure, stay here, but be prepared to be disappointed. I wish I had read the reviews before booking, you get what you pay for it so I guess I should not be surprised. If you have really little kids, then this is probably the best place for young ones but if your kids are older than 13, I would stay elsewhere and just visit.

The hotel is an older property and is a bit tired. However, the room was very acceptable and a great value. We arrived late evening on thursday and there were only two desk clerks to check in many people. More clerks arrived and we enjoyed a beer from the lobby store but still had to wait 45 mins in line to get to the front desk. Hotel is located north on the strip but we walked several times to other casinos. A $*-$* cab ride will get you to most places on the strip. Not the hotel for lounging in the room or by the pool but a great value if you just want to enjoy Vegas.

Things at this hotel seemed to be less professional. As my wife and i stepped into the hotel room, we were very disappointed. We had a manor room, but the room seemed to be worse than we expected. As i put my luggage down, my wife went to the restroom. Suddenly, I heard her yell and fall on the ground. I went into the restroom and helped her get up. As she opened the door to the restroom, she had seen a huge cockroach, the size of at least two fingers, still crawling on the floor. I was very frustrated. The bad quality of the room hurt my wife and ruinned the excitement of our trip. When we told the room services about the situation, they moved us to the skyrise tower but still on the first day, we were very frustrated. No one came to apologize. The workers seemed to be so relaxed about what was going on. I guess seeing a cockroach didn't really surprise the workers anymore. If you really care about your trip and if you wish to spend a memorable trip, you shouldn't stay at this hotel.

Circus Circus Hotel was great for children. Check in was fast. We asked for two extra pillows and got them immediately. The staff was nice. The rooms were always very clean and we couldnt hear any noise of any other rooms while we were sleeping. Unfortunately, we would not stay there again because of the pool. My too small and compare to the other pools in Vegas and knowing that this hotel is more for kids they could of done a better job on the pool. Its also a bit far from the strip. The kids had fun on the rides in the hotel but truthfully if we go back to Vegas we would not stay at this hotel because of the pool
