After months of planning and looking forward to our first to vegas.... And looking at all the different hotels in vegas my friend and I choose to stay at the Stratosphere. After our first night stay I found myself waking up early itching my arms and legs. Since I wasn't itching a upon my arrival I could only assume that I got the bites from the bed that I slept in at the hotel. before writing this review I read that other vistors were having simlar problems in their room. I wish I read the reviews closer before booking my trip to vegas. I called the housekeeping to change my bedding. Before my second night sleep I noticed that they don't use fitted sheets on their beds. which I found very odd but whatever.... I then continued to inspect my new sheets and found clear stains on the sheets. I then found yellow stains on the comforter itself. I called the front desk and they offered to have housekeeping to come and change my sheets.. which I was okay with. My friend and one night thought we would stay at the stratosphere and gamble and see a show that they offered at the stratosphere. We felt the employees at the show were rude and not friendly at all. The other night we explored the other hotels on the strip and employees were much nicer. It was a very first bad impression and if I would return to vegas. I would not be staying at the Stratosphere. Advice read all reviews before booking your vacation

I stay there every time I go to Las Vegas which is 4 to 6 times a year. It is reasonably priced the rooms are clean and room service is tops. I am a single woman and travel alone and I feel very safe there. The economy rooms do not have much of a view but for a few dollars more you can upgrade to a room with a good view. Shops are fun and you cant beat the Top of the World. Would recommend it to anyone if cost is a factor.

The hotel is located in a less populated area which suited our needs. Downtown was just minutes away as well as the central strip. Outside the hotel was safe to walk at all hours and we had no problems. Our room at the Stratosphere was more spacious than we expected. Quite nice. We had space, privacy and was close to the elevator, which we liked. The hotel offered a variety of great restaurants, a variety of slots (too tight though). The only problem we didn't like was that we had to pay to go to the tower for each day we stayed at the hotel whether we went to the tower/observation deck or not. That was not right at all! People should only have to pay IF they went up to the tower/observation deck. Also, people actually staying at the Stratosphere should have had a discount to go there because of them staying there. Otherwise, we enjoyed our trip to Vegas and stay at the Stratopshere.
