Hidden hotel services fees!

The hotel smells like cigarette a lot, unlike other 4 to 5 star hotels. The hall ways smell like a wet dog. And went I checked out I was charged extra hotel services that I was not aware of. They give you complementary drinks and charge you * plus tax extra per night!!!, be sure to say you do not want that, all rides and amenities the hotel offers they charge for it, so if you pay hotel charges in your original itinerary why pay more charges, The explanation was from front desk , that I should had booked directly to them.

This was out 3rd stay at NY/NY we really love it and we always say we are going to try another hotel and end up staying at NY! Love the atmosphere, restaurant choices and it is close to everything!

My wife another couple and I stayed at the NY NY from May 1 to May 5. Our rooms were clean and comfortable we liked the amenities the hotel had to offer Gallaghers Steakhouse = fantastic meal pool was freezing cold Coyote Ugly = awesome place to party! The monorail station is located across the skywalk in the MGM Grand however you have to walk a long time through the MGM but you get used to it. All-in-all we were very pleased with the NY NY Hotel experience.

04/17/2010Note note note -- i have no idea what their schedule is but when i called on day around 5:00 pm to see what time the pool closed they said ...
NOTE NOTE NOTE -- I have no idea what their schedule is but when I called on day around 5:00 PM to see what time the pool closed they said it was already closed. ALSO - They do not appear to HEAT their pool. I.E. You could not swim in it as it was too cold. OH - And the "SPA" rooms with the big tub in them - not worth it. You don't spend that much time in the room. Seemed to be shorted staffed at times also
