Never Again
07/03/2009We arrived monday morning, we checked our bags ($10 tip), came back later, no internet, they came and rigged something up. brought luggage, another $5 tip. tried to take shower, ...
We arrived Monday morning, we checked our bags ($10 tip), came back later, no internet, they came and rigged something up. Brought luggage, another $5 tip. Tried to take shower, no hot water. They could not move us that night because they said they were full. Next day they had to come get luggage, another tip, to put in bell station, told us to come back, not stand in line, just ask for new key. I did this and got screamed at by front desk person, embarrased I dropped my phone, broke it, and asked for a manager. The manager, trying to get me to calm down, gave me $ room service credit. Had to call for luggage, yep, another tip. The next 6 nights were with an A/C that would get to about 75. Upon check out, they tried to charge us the $ room service credit. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN IF IT WAS FREE..... also, no coffee pots in rooms, so plan to spend an extra $, each morning for your java fix.

My trip to Vegas was great. I'm 24 years old but I promise you this wasn't just a younger hip crowd. I arrived early in the morning and was told that my room may not be availible for several hours becuase check-in was at 4....it was ready before I finished breakfast!! The casino downstairs was great but even better is the casino right next door Casino Royale..5 dollar of any type of game that you would want to play. The room in the hotel was nice and the hotel staff was very friendly...what more could I ask?...Oh and the pool was nicer than what some people made it out to be. If you want a rowdier pool and more club like atmosphere, then head over to the Hard Rock for some craziness. The Improv is a must and right inside the hotel.

I have to tell you that I read all of the reviews before I went to Vegas. I was a little scared since it seemed that Harrah's was getting pretty poor reviews. I was very pleasantly suprised when I arrived at the hotel at 11:00 in the evening. My room was not available but they did upgrade us to suites for the night and it was just beautiful. The next morning we were moved to our premium rooms in the Mardi Gras tower. Both of these rooms were very clean and they both had nice views of the city. I am not sure what some of these people are expecting for the money that they spend, but I was very pleased and I would definately stay at Harrah's again.

X the lady that intial checked us in on the first day was AWESOME!!! she was very informative and provided us with maps outline, shuttles, and bus info and etc.. She took her time to explain everything and we were able to check in early. we arrive there at 10 and was able to check in immediately and usually check in is at 4.. rooms were nice no complaints an overral service was good. Also the team in toatal rewards were extra nice and friendly as well. What I didn't enjoy, you were not able to get a free drink while your were gambling, no one seem to pay attention, but we brought our own so that wasn't too much of a problem. I do have a complaint about about a lady at front desk we had to call manager on on our 2nd day she was rude and turned her nose up at us and of course management took up for her. I will be sending complaint about her and providing her name. vey nice experience and will stay again walking disrance from everyting.. HAD A BLAST!!!
